introduction order session management is a feature that allows users to automate their trading strategies based on predefined trading sessions this guide will walk you through how to use this feature effectively enabling order session management navigate to the money management step in the smart assist setup locate the orders session management toggle and turn it on selecting trading sessions once enabled, you can select one or more trading sessions from the dropdown menu all trading sessions sydney session tokyo session london session new york session setting post session actions choose how to manage open orders after the selected trading session(s) end move stop loss (sl) to breakeven close position at market price if in profit leave the position running (default option) how it works the system applies your chosen actions to orders created during the selected sessions actions are executed after the trading session ends if all sessions are closed (e g , weekend), you'll see an event log "market is closed order cannot be processed" important notes at least one trading session must be selected when order session management is enabled the system validates your settings before saving them your settings are integrated into the smart assist logic for automated execution example use case enable order session management select "new york session" choose "close position at market price if in profit" with a 10 pip threshold after the new york session ends, the smart assist will automatically close positions that are in profit by 10 pips or more disabling order session management if you turn off the order session management toggle, any previously configured settings will not be applied to your trades
